We grew up too early…
I love watching Melia explore and interact with other children. She’ll be playing, see another baby or kid in the distance, grab a toy, walk over, and just start playing with them!
Children are a constant reminder of how beautiful life is.
When they are happy, they sing, dance, play, laugh, and are just so truly happy that it’s contagious.
It’s probably impossible to see a baby or child laugh, and not have the urge to smile or giggle too, no matter how we feel! 🥰
We were all children once too. We still are. Somewhere deep down inside of all of us is our childlike selves.
The self that just wants to let go of all standards, pressures, worries and responsibilities, and just sing dance and play!
The self inside of us that wants to get dirty, run, walk in the rain, jump in a puddle, climb a tree, draw, colour, do arts and crafts, make a fort, and basically just laugh!
Laugh so hard that our stomachs hurt!
Smile so wide that our mouths get soar! That child is inside of all of us.
We were all children until one day we were told we had to grow up, and leave all of our dreams behind.
Go to school from age 4-18 and then university from 18-22 and sometimes even more. That’s almost 20 years of our lives where we get programmed by a system made to teach us how to be responsible adults!!
Starting at the age of 4, slowly, they teach us how to grow up. No wonder everyone is so lost and depressed these days.
We grew up too early…
No wonder we have fears anxieties and lost dreams.
It all happened way too fast ...
Keep playing Melia, forever and ever. Never forget who you are. Never grow up, keep smiling, and keep climbing.
Don’t listen to anyone who ever tells you to be quiet, stop talking, to listen to the rules, to act mature, to stay clean, or to draw in between the lines.
May all of our children remain children forever ❤️ May they never grow up and loose touch of who they truly are.
We are all children and we may have forgotten that, but let’s not let them forget it too. 🏃🏽♀️ 💃🏻 🎶 🌲 💦 🧘♀️
