Apr 20 Trying to figure out my purpose in life right now ...

Trying to figure out my purpose in life right now ... the biggest philosophical question of them all. .

WHY are we here? .

What is your mission? .

Purpose itself is a tricky word because there is no purpose other than to be love feel love and give love. To just BE in the present moment. To live in the now and be grateful and truly joyful for everything you have, for all of your experiences good or bad. .

But, there is no such thing as “purpose”. A flower does not have “purpose” it just IS beautiful! It just IS itself to the fullest. It does not question itself .. “what is my purpose?” .

But alas, here we are, here I am. And I am asking myself, why am I here? .

And as I ask it, I realize that that question alone is the wrong one to ask ... because the question is addressed to our minds. Our minds which are run by our programmed ego. So to find the answer to this question which so many of us have, we must not ask anything. .

Purpose is not something we can just find the answer to. There’s no quick answer to this question. .

Purpose is a journey and path we must take, allowing each day and each decision to be felt with our soul. To allow that inner guidance in our heart of hearts to lead us through this world. Only the universe (aka: our soul, higher self, god or whatever you’d like to call it) knows the why, and so to discover it means to surrender to life, and to go with the flow. .

Follow that feeling of joy inside you when you make decisions and choose to take leaps and adventures. If it feels right in your heart, take that one simple step forward. Eventually, each day and step takes you a little closer and closer to your why. .

Don’t focus on the end destination, just focus on right now. .

Focus on WHY right NOW. .

Does it resonate with your soul? .

Then take that step towards it. .

I am asking out loud what is my purpose, and have now just realized that purpose itself is to live life guided by joy and love that comes from deep within. Whatever makes your heart sing, that is purpose. What ever makes you feel good, that is your why.
